Visas Explained Header Image Free Visa Assessment Banner Image

Dear clients,

We’re coming up to Christmas, and we at Down Under Visa are taking our holidays then as most of you would know. If you don’t know, please check HERE.

Important:

We generally don’t know when your visa application will be ready for lodgement, because it depends on what you (sponsor and applicant) have prepared and when you will send it to us.

  • You may have everything ready and be about to courier it to us this morning.
  • Or you may TELL us that you have everything ready, however you haven’t read the Guidebook properly and what you send us is not correct. Common mistakes include: Communication records with large gaps in time, ie. weeks or months with no records of communication; Plain photocopies of documents that should be certified; Passport ID pages not certified properly; Form 888’s without certified copies of ID’s; Insufficient evidence of meeting; Or just plain not supplying everything on the checklist
  • OR you may be months away from being ready.

If you think you may be ready before Christmas:

Of course we would be delighted to submit your application soon. That’s our job after all, and we want you to be together as soon as possible. But we won’t submit applications if they’re not ready, AND we have time constraints! If we have a dozen applications ready 4 – 5 days before we go on holidays, it’s not very likely that a dozen applications will be submitted! There are only so many hours in a day, plus we are also busy answering queries from you and all our other clients. And we don’t do rush jobs because we hate mistakes.

So:

Please check your documents and relationship evidence thoroughly with the Guidebook and our instructional videos. And that means documents from BOTH of you.

  • If you’re ready, please send ASAP.
  • And please email Jeremy (downundervisa3@gmail.com) and let him know what you’re sending
  • And make sure you’re ready to fix up the balance owing. We have a few ready applications sitting here waiting for payment. We can’t do much without money.

Looking forward to hearing from you and to finalising your application!
