Down Under Visa? Who else would we go to?
I had a client once. Australian Partner Visa from the Philippines to Australia for his Filipina wife. Met him in our old Alabang office. I asked him what made him choose Down Under Visa to be his Registered Migration Agent?
His words!
“Well, you’re here in the Philippines! An Aussie bloke I can understand. Your office and wife and kids are here. Your wife is Filipina, like mine. You went through the partner visa process yourself, so you know what it’s like. And all you do are partner and tourist visas from the Philippines.
Who else would we go to? Easy choice!”
Hadn’t thought about it before he said that, but of course it makes sense. Dealing with someone who knows the culture of the Philippines and the way things work through personal experience, and someone who obviously has empathy for him and his Filipina lady! AND has honed his skills doing the very visa application that he needs help with.
If it were me? I would do the same thing. No question! A visa expert in YOUR visa from YOUR country, and who cares about the outcome? Easy choice!
What about other Registered Migration Agents?
There are many Registered Migration Agents out there. Suits and ties (I don’t even own one!!) and ritzy offices in the Melbourne CBD. Most of them will do visas from anywhere at all. Any type of visa. Many of them prefer the big bucks from the more expensive work visas, or the commissions from placing student visa applicants in their colleges of choice.
Many Registered Migration Agents based in Australia hate doing Australian partner visas because of the emotions involved! Many don’t like the refusal risks of Australian tourist visas. I won’t go into it, but it can be very challenging dealing with couples who are dealing with long distance relationships and the loneliness of being apart.
As a Registered Migration Agent, you need to really care about these people and have a vocation for bringing couples together as we do. Me? I love it! No interest whatsoever in job applicants or students and courses! We’ve brought thousands of Australian Filipina couples together over the years, and I wish I knew how many babies came into the world safely in Australia due to our efforts.
Choosing the perfect Registered Migration Agent
Over the many years of our Registered Migration Agency practice we’ve done mostly visas from the Philippines. Due to traveling (a lot!) in the years since the end of COVID we’ve developed a love for the people of Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Especially me! While my lovely wife visits monuments and mountaintops, I’m out and about talking to the locals. Those three countries? Full of beautiful ladies who are sweet and kind. It’s our honour these days to help couples who find their ladies in these countries too.
So seriously, who would YOU rather have working for you? Who would YOU happily entrust your future happiness with the love of your life?
Maybe someone who didn’t leave and run back to Australia during COVID? Someone who didn’t shut the door for even a day during those dark days, because he could never let his Australian Filipina clients down?
And surely you would want someone who knew exactly what you’re going through? Someone just like you? Or someone in an office with a suit (and a latte) who doesn’t really get you? To me….and for our many thousands of satisfied clients who still regard us as trusted friends….who else but Down Under Visa!
