Jeff's Visa Client Stories

Greetings to all visitors, friends and clients!

Given the amount of traffic these videos are getting, I think many of you are already aware of our new YouTube playlist "Jeff's Visa Client Stories".

I hear from new and old clients all the time with issues, and I've always taken pride in having a well-informed clientelle. The more you know, the less mistakes you make (and the less headaches for poor Jeff!).

So I take these issues and address them in YouTube short videos (with longer written descriptions) explaining these issues in brief. Each video is only about 1 minute.

So please click and view. And SUBSCRIBE so you get informed immediately of new videos. Usually 2 - 3 per week. And please SHARE with friends and colleagues.

This is a summary of new videos from last week.

Fiance Visas or Prospective Marriage Visas

Which Australian visa has a higher risk of refusal? Partner Visa or Tourist Visa?

The Prospective Marriage Visa, also known as Fiancee Visa, Fiance Visa or PMV, allows the visa holder the right to come to Australia and to marry her Australian sponsor/fiance. They have 12 months in which to get married, so there is no extreme rush. Visa holders can have the wedding they want. And the process is largely lacking in deadlines at this stage.

Those who don't want to rush through a wedding whilst on a 3 month tourist visa stay find this ideal, especially those who don't cope well with stress.

How to Fast Track Visitor Visas

Which Australian visa has a higher risk of refusal? Partner Visa or Tourist Visa?

We get Free Visa Assessment forms every day, and a common theme to Tourist Visa assessments is wanting someone to visit on a particular date for a particular event. Sometimes it's for girlfriend, fiancee, partner or wife. Other times it's for a sibling or close relative. "I want Mary Jane to be here for my birthday", or "I want her mother at our wedding in Australia".

Australian Partner Visa Applicants During COVID

COVID Times and Australian Partner Visas from the Philippines

I'm sure everyone remembers the two years of the dreaded COVID days! The world was locked down. Being forced to wear masks and stay at home. Borders closed (including the Australian border and the Philippines border) meaning you could not visit your sweetheart and she could not easily come to Australia.

The world was in danger! Any one of us could get sick and die without a family funeral. It was a real threat and it affected everyone.

Who are Down Under Visa? Who is Jeff Harvie?

Jeff Harvie and the Down Under Visa team have been doing this for a lot of years! Down Under Visa have brought thousands of couples to Australia from South East Asia over the years. Mostly from the Philippines, but we help increasing numbers of couples where the visa applicant is from China, Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia. And what this means is we see a lot of success....and we also see failures when people go it alone after talking to their mate, or their relative, or that minimal-care-no-responsibility Facebook group run by Steve and Maribeth based on their own visa application! One application, and they feel qualified to advise others! It's not even LEGAL to do that!

Want to bring your sweetheart to Australia from The Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia or Southeast Asia? Get a FREE VISA ASSESSMENT today! It will take you five minutes.
