Adam contacted Down Under Visa in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, while borders were closed and most Government offices and courts in the Philippines were either closed or running with a skeleton staff. All he wanted was to have his fiancee with him so they became Down Under Visa clients.
COVID was tough on us, but was especially tough on our clients who were kept apart. Down Under Visa take great pride in the fact we didn't turn tail and run when COVID hit and the light at the end of the tunnel was dim.
We had a duty to Down Under Visa clients, both existing and new, to do whatever we could to deal with what many considered impossible circumstances. Yes of course we love hearing good things about us, but it gives us a sense of purpose seeing a great family like this back together where they should be and without that fear that hung over them for so long. Kids should be with their dads! Loving couples should be able to wake up next to each other every day.
Adam and Cleicel, with Down Under Visa's guidance, managed to marry online…..legally!…..through the Government offices in Provo, Utah USA. The Australian Government accepted this. The Philippines Government accepted this. And so did the Department of Home Affairs (the Immigration people). And they have the partner visa now to show for it!
