Philippines Borders Opening for Australians
Yes, it's finally happened! All of our many many clients who've been absolutely dying inside waiting to come to the Philippines to be with their Filipina sweethearts can now do it! Philippines borders are opening 10 February 2022 to:
- Fully vaccinated Australians (ie you need your vaccination certificate)
- Who have tested negative within two days days before flying
- Apparently no quarantine required
Once again Australian passport holders will receive a 30 day visa-on-arrival. Your passport will be stamped, and you can stay 30 days.
What about COVID-19 and Omicron?

IF this were a scary variant, do you think the Philippines would open its borders and say "Come in everyone!"? Would they say "Come and make our hospitals overflow with tourists?"
Not likely!
Clearly they are aware that this thing is in its end-days. And it's time for everyone to start getting back to life in what we could call the new-normal. That means you will still need your masks and your commonsense when you're here.
And when you kiss your sweetheart at the airport, you will need kiss ONLY with a mask and a faceshield on.
JOKING!!!
No, use commonsense. Follow the rules. Mask. Sanitise hands. Avoid crowds. But please enjoy your loving relationships like normal people do! Live like normal people!
